3rd Gen Injector Questions

Could someone tell me the differences between injectors in the 89-94 cars? I called the auto parts store and they told me there should be either a blue or black dot on the injector. What is the differences between these injectors, what years do they correspond to, etc?

Also, who makes the stock injectors for these cars and what is the flow rating on them? Are there cheaper/better alternatives if I am going to be replacing them anyway?

Thanks!

P.S. Normally I would spend my time searching the archives for these answers, but it says the search is only enabled for paying members...

89-92 VG motor takes one injector
93-94 VG takes 2 different injectors , need to ID the color dot on them
92-94 VE takes yet a different injector

at a very minimum the early VG injectors have a different connector than the later VG and VE/VQ injectors.

The stock injectors are bosch and have been updated by bosch to work more effectively and last longer.

I sell the bosch injectors
