Pacesetter headers. . .?
Pacesetter headers. . .?
Hi all,
Just doin the slow and fun task of modifying my maxima. I have an aussie delivered SoHC 1992 maxima...
Am looking to put an exhaust on it and I've found pacesetter fabricate headers for this model VG30E. I'm curious as to the torque/Hp increase of the extractors versus the standard cast manifold. Anyone bought them and can attest to their claimed better flow?
Cheers all
Cracka.

From what I gather, you really don't want to mess with the Pacesetter headers. The modest gains and possible headaches aren't going to be worth it, especially to ship it down there. I would recommend the y-pipe. They are well built and deliver solid gains. They are also easier to install.
As for the short throw shifter, I think a lot of guys have Pacesetters because they are functional and fairly inexpensive. The only other option is Stillen, which is not adjustable and costs quite a bit more.
