Windshield washer tank

Hi,

I have a leaking windshield washer tank on my 1990 SE. I tried to figure out how to remove it with the factory service manual and a Chilton's, but can not find anything. I have also tried to remove the front fender splashguard to investigate further. But could not see much and stopped when I figured out I would have to remove the whole wheelwell splashguard as this is my daily driver.

The hole in the fender that the funnel type fill tube goes through does not appear to be big enough to let the top of the tube back out. And there does not appear to be a way to take the tank apart from below. Does anyone know how to remove the windshield washer tank for repair or replacement of the pump or level sensor if that what it turns out to be? Thanks for any words of wisdom.

Colin.

Colin.

Have been all around that tingie like u. No info... I have also problematic main light viper/washers. Figured out that I have to take the bumper & mudguard off to repair them all.

As/when they are off, its "easy" to repair the sagging pass door hinges also.

If wiper water bottle was the only problem, I would buy an aftermarket susbstitute for 10$ and use that until - yes, until what? New ?maxima...

epoxy should work....

i think you can just take the passsenger front lower underbody cover off and acess it there, you MIGHT need to remove the pass side inner wheel well liner.
