what is the purpose of this? i'm not totally sure what you're talking about. THat and my first reply was to test out my new sig thing. Oh, love the super swampers man!

the bypass valve is something that fits between the tubing to the fender well and the MAF, when it feels a loss of pressure (or so they say) it bypasses the tubing that would go through the MAF and into your engine. it prevents water from going places it shouldn't.
