haha yeah you like my dual koni set up with rancho springs too
that's kinda sad you acutaly saw a car like that...yikes.the bypass valve is something that fits between the tubing to the fender well and the MAF, when it feels a loss of pressure (or so they say) it bypasses the tubing that would go through the MAF and into your engine. it prevents water from going places it shouldn't.
