Water pump

I think my water pump is toast on my 93 SE. Have any diyers replaced this themselves? It looks like a real PITA to get to. I think I might take it in the shop. Any input on how much this should cost. Thanks.

I have, and it is. I dont remember how much I paid for my water pump but it was dirt cheap. around $20.00 I think.

If you have a se model, it is around $80 at auto zone.

I was wondering if anyone had a mechanic do it and what the going price was. I checked out the autozone info. That's great info. Still deciding to dive in and do it myself or take it in. hmmm

My car was in for the timing belt replacement and I got the pump changed as well. Did not cost me anything extra.
