transmisson problem

transmisson problem

I have a automatic 92 nissan maxima my problem is that my car can go forward but it can't seem to go on reverse when i put it on reverse it goes foward after driving for couple of hours i'll stop and put it on reverse i can feel the car wanna go on reverse when i press that gas slowly but it will lock. can someone help me i'm about to drive my car over a cliff.

Has the gear selector lever bushings, wire bushings, alignment been checked, adjusted?

Oil level ok, clear red oil I suppose? Filter changed during last 60k?

I suggest to check solenoid coil resistancs, electrical supply to solenoids & TCU (transmission control) connectors. Check out: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/748507/15

If that does not help, hope some auto mech specialist will give more info...
