benefits...?

hey i have a y pipe (not the super flow) and i wanted to know if its going to have gains even though my car doesnt have a muffler nor cat....

yes, i put the warpspeed on my gxe auto and it was MUCH different. It helped so much that when i bought my SE saturday, i called WSP monday morning to order one for the VE. What are you waiting for, put the thing on there!

well its on and i can tell it gain a little but i wanted to know if i will get more if i put my cat and muffler back on

I think you would get more low end power because you would be getting more back pressure.

and dont waste your money on a "hi-flow" cat..unless yours is dead..

I would get rid of the cat to realy make the Y pipe come alive. You also upgrade to a 2inch or maybe 2.25 Exhaust.

You will have gains, removing the cat just adds irrating noise. Stock pipe is already close to 2".

i have a 2.5" y-pipe and i definately noticed a loss of low end grunt on the butt dyno. however it really helped my car starting at about 3000 rpms. the car is a monster on the highway.
