Hood Struts

Got some new hood struts from AUTOZONE

and I was wondering what the easiest way is to install these, should I drill out the rivet and then put another in or can i use a nut/bolt!

thanks!

I never had to do any drilling to replace mine. Unbolt, rebolt. There IS a right and left hand for each. if you have to drill something take them back and buy the ones from Advance.

it takes 1 minute to drill out each side so it's not a big deal
you could use a new rivet, but a nut/bolt will be just fine as long as it's not too long

+1 to Matt's reply. I got the ones from Advance. Strong Arm I think. Just swapped them out.
