I ride GXE. Please Read the stickies before asking questions. Best bet is to donate $20 to get access to the search function. Saves soo much time. Congrats on obtaining your GXE and remeber this

All 1989-1994 GXE and 1989-1991 SE's came with the VG30E engine
All 1992-1994 SE's came with the VE30DE engine.
The VE30DE engine has 190 hp while the VG30E engine has 160hp. The VE guys think their engine is better but we all know why it lasted only three years (tick, tick, tick)

most people have GXE's, or 89-91 SE's which are practically the same thing.

I've got one of each, and they each are sweet in their own right.

My gxe has the keyless which i really wish the SE would have. Already locked the keys in the ignition, car running and couldn't get it open, needed a locksmith. The gxe also has the nicer stereo, and more mods. The SE is just much faster especially with the 5 spd. It also has rims, eibach/tokicos, sunroof. So if i could go pure speed with nice suspension versus some speed and a lot of luxury, i'd go with speed. Even with a CAI and Y pipe, the gxe just wont keep up. VE all the way IMO! (Sorry fellow GXEers.)

The GXE's with ABS came with rear discs in the US also.

I have a GXE.. But I wish for a low mileage SE 5spd everyday.

Hehehe.. So get the GXE rims for the full package, then you'll really give somebody something to think about.

Once my bet snaps I have an excuse to drop in a VG30ET. I always wondered why the VE and VQ looked similar. j/k But nonetheless the VE still has forged pistons like the VG30DETT. Me jealous.

No way man! Auto seatbelts own.

Sure they can get a bit annoying sometimes, but most of the time I don't even notice it's on me. Which is also good since where I live you get a very expensive ticket for no seatbelt. So my Max is sorda reminding me to watch out! And if I get tired of it on a long trip, I just pop it off.
