its easy to get to, just get under your car and pull it out and then put in the new one you just bought from internetautomart.com "The best 3rd Gen Maxima Parts Store on the Net"

O2 constant failure should cause Engine Check -light on dash.

Knock sensor: gas mileage is poor the acceleration is poor.

the CEL will only light if the ecu sees an out of range voltage. If the 02 starts getting old and tends to stay on the rich side (as they tend to do when old), your mileage suffers and the cel never lights. Been there and done that already. If you have more than 100k on your current 02, it's long overdo for a replacement.

I was looking at the how to for replacing o2 sensors. Is the location of the o2 sensor the same for a 94 max. VE30DE?
