Just wondering if anyone has ever run into this one before. My interior lights do not turn on when I open the drivers door, but if I open any of the other 3 doors they come right on. Any idea what might be causing this? Thanks in advance for any help.

 

mine does that sometimes, too. It is the sensor mounted on the body where the bottom rear corner of your door hits when you close it. Give it a jiggle.

 

yeah, I'm an idiot. I checked the other night before I posted and I was looking on the front of the door, where the hinge is. I didn't think to look on the back side where it closes......it just needed to be cleaned. It had some grunge on it that kept it from grounding.....works fine now. Thanks.

 

My 1992 SE does the same thing, but i think the last owner did that to disable the secuity. Its really annoying when your getting in the car around 12 oclock at night.
