Just wondering if anyone wants to see photos of my 1992 White Maxima with the two sets of rims I own lowered w/ the works. If enough request, I'll take digital shots and post pics of my ride.

A set of 96 240sx SE Rims (I think these look better on the 3rd generation Max than the 4th generation 16" SE rims)

and

A set of 17" Enkei RS Evolutions

Could any who did a swap of SE face guages to their 92 GXE assist me with what year SE white RPM face guage they used. Was it from a 89, 90, or 91 model SE Maxima?

yeah, I always want to see more max pics especially if it's modded

I don't know about the rims though, theres no way they could look better than 4th gen 16" =)
I have seen a few pics of them on a 3rd gen and they do look good too

also, you want to try to get 89-91 SE guages; you could get 92-94SE (they have a higher redline and go up to 145 instead of 125) but the reading may be slightly off, but according to someone here (ghostmax maybe), it didn't cause any probs for him
try a junkyard for the guages

I used 89 SE gauges with no problem...someone else got some 92-94 SE gauges from a junkyard for pretty cheap, and he said it also worked fine for him. Forgot who though. Btw, I like the look of the 240SX wheels. I have Z wheels in my garage waiting to be installed as soon as I'm out of school (not till another month!).

I like Lp's color (kinda like the 4th gen silver)...guess they didn't have that color over here.

Time I took some focussed pics I think

Ghostmax the colour is Sand Gray which the US definately received because Craig B in the past owned a GXE the same shade. In reality its more 'bronzish' than those pictures suggest, more like a darker champagne.

Wheels are S14 200SX, should be same wheel as US 240SX. The problem with them is the noticable 40mm offset. Easy for you American guys to throw on 5mm spacers, but unfortunately wheel spacers are illegal in Australia.

wow, you know a lot about me
anyway, I did have a sand grey 89GXE before my 93SE. I am pretty sure that color was only 89 and 90GXEs in the US
I didn't realize it was the same color as yours; yours looks more silver in teh pics, but I can kind of see it in the pic of just your rims
it normally looks more bronzish like you said; I really loved that color especially with maroon leather interior and dark tinted windows
here is a pic of a maxima meet I had in my driveway before I sold the 89

Thats the one, exactly the same colour. My photography is a big hit at misrepresentation.com and cheapcamera.com

I got a feeling Maximamike might be disappointed by this information.

Here's my ride......

Thanks everyone for their suggestions regarding the white SE guages!

It turned out, because of your leads, I contacted a local junkyard here and purchased a crashed 91 SE guage cluster.

As I mentioned before I already had 2 of the 3 white guages installed, I just needed the white TACH guage, cuz for some reason, if you change just the TACH only your original SE cluster, it doesn't fit, I just found out, I had to cut a piece of my GXE cluster that was in the way... and boom, it fits and works! Now I have my guages mounted on my OEM GXE cluster that has my original 87,000 mileage!!!!

I plan on selling the other 2 on eBay (gas/speedometer guages) because I already had them from the past...

Anyone interested? All you need to purchase is the white TACH and I'll help w/ the installation....

I did it under an hour!!!!

Already, n e ways, here's my ride...... I'll be planning on adding more photos later, I painted my ST swaybars blue....
and customized a bit of my engine and interior... I'll also add photos of my 17s once I get the change to put them on before summer...
