Wierd electrical problem

I have a 93 ve and all of a sudden my power seatbelts, windows, and seats stopped working. I just started hearing two ticks about every 15-20 seconds. If I hold down my window button, the window will go down a bit every time I hear the ticks. Also, my headlights flutter when I hear the tick. All my fuses are good too. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
Jeremy

Oh yeah, the power locks aren't working either. Is there a universal motor that powers all these?

Luckily thats only batt...

I suspect u have a short in window ctrl box under the dash. All windows are central controlled, and power to motors come from that one point. Doors do have their own logic circuits, and upon pressing button, the +12V is applied to that door motor.

Its not the T-ford hardwired system.

I suppose this ctrl box, its connector, supply or whatever is shorted. Check out. Should see melted things...

Edit: OOPS. Correction. Checked the schema: All pwr supply goes through drivers door, thats the ctrl point.
(Circ breakers: there are two circ breakers in the farthest LH corner behind fuses, at harness junctions. PITA -place)

Edit2: The power to the door goes through that circ breaker1 there. Its the RH of those two. Those breakers are pictured in chiltons manual.
The problem most possibly is in the driver door: short circuit.

Maybe that schema is in chiltons fs manual, www.autozone.com

One info bit of doors logic is at: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/748507/13

It's an intermittent problem because after I charged the battery and drove it around for a while, the ticking in the dash stopped and everything is working fine now. I guess I won't worry about it until the problem comes back.
