Pics of my custom grille

Took a while but wasn't too hard. At least my car is unique in town. I had this in mind for quite a while.

Yes, took the Nissan logo off and painted the horizontal bars black, cut and painted the mesh, stuck the Maxima logo on and put the mesh in.

i think it is the way the lisence plate is like half reflecting light that makes it look photoshopped and the black part on the lower have of the bumper

Good work man. Nothing better than doing your own mod. IMHO, I think it would look better without the Maxima logo, or maybe a smaller one, but I mean no offense in any way. Just contributing.

Thanks for the comments. All the pics are original, not photoshopped. I think the light was just getting dark enough that my camera decided to flash. Some of the pics not posted have some neat highlights.

That's a good idea. I always like the 3G-A grill better than the 3G-B one (not as hard to clean and is simpler). Although you used the 3G-B one, that is a good looking mod. Looks like you used some kind of netting. What's it from?

Yeah I just jammed two pieces of painters sticks in between the grill and the bumper made it a little better.

Dammm, you guys look too close! I've noticed that too and I think I can bend the bracket behind it. I agree maybe the license plate could go.

I realy like it, even with the license plate up front. Here in winnipeg we have no choice but to have the plate up front. If we take it off it's a $100 ticket.

Bought it from the dealer. I think it is 5th gen. I just showed the guy from parts one in the lot. I wanted it to be all one peice so I couldn't screw up getting it straight.

For one it fits tight, but I wired it in strategic places and then painted the wires.
