My son's Sentra bit the dust last month and left him without a car. My wife and I both agreed that it made the most sense if I sold him my SE. I was very sad about it, cause I loved that car. I still am sad...but every time that I fire up my new 1999 Trans Am with 305 HP...it helps me to get over her.

PS- I let him get the car for the price of the tires...300.00. Unreal...huh?

Sounds more like a gift than a sale.
Lucky boy.

At least you can always take it for a spin whenever you want.

Whenever I get a little sad about losing my Beretta Z26 (I loved that car too...most people dont understand why though) I go over to my parents' and sit in it a while and check it out. I sat in it last week and I could smell the same smell it had when I bought it.

Damn that car was a looker.

That's true....and as long as he owes me the 300.00, it's technically my car. I just hope to GOD that he takes care of it. I baby my cars...and that's why I have 4 that have over 200K.

I do all the work myself, so I'll know if he's ragging it out. I'll pull that car from him if he doe's start ragging it.

I beat the CRAP out of my car when my parents first gave it to me, but when I started loving the car, I took caer of it. Get your son to love your car, and he'll take care for it.

I actually have another SE (an `88) that has 210,000.
They will just keep going and going. But this one is starting to nickel and dime me. The only problem is that the Nissan dealership charges much more than that.
I replaced the AC compressor-to-evaporator hose yesterday. Went to a junkyard for the part due to the hose being 220.00 at the dealership. Add another 200.00 to evacuate and re-charge the system with the new R-134A.
