Re-Installing a trunk switch

For some reason my se was missing the trunk switch in the driver door. I saw that the actual lever was missing. I never bothered myself with it because I always had my trunk key. But i guess fate has come back to haunt me because I ended up losing the trunk key.

So I prop open the door panel, to look for the trunk switch harness, but could not find it. I matched up every harness with it's respective receiver and nothing came up when looking for the one that belonged to the trunk module.

Anyone know what color it the harness is, and is there any way to re-install another harness and switch from another car?

re-installing trunk switch

The plug you are looking for has two wires, one is brown and the other is white/red tracer. Just jump these together and the trunk should open. Good luck.

my keys all operate the trunk and everything, so you're using the valet key?

Hey bigkgs, I have two (2) trunk switches if you still are in need of one. Yours for ten dollars, includes mailing. Ken
