Anyone have good instructions for a greddy cat-back exhaust install?
Don't break the bolts!
That will ruin your day. There are only 4 bolts to the whole thing, but mine broke at the catalytic converter and we spent a day and a half trying to drill them out. Soak them heavily and often with something like WD40 before you try to unscrew them. The flange in the stock pipe is threaded and the flange in the cat. They will be stuck in there TIGHT! We also removed the heat sheild on the cat to make things easier to get at.
As long as you don't snap those bolts off it's a piece of cake. You will have the new one on in about 20 minutes. Everything lines up to the stock hangers. You won't have to drill or bend anything. Taking the stock stuff off is the only trick. We cut the stock pipe where it goes through the rear suspension because my Stillen rear apron to the body kit wouldn't allow us to maneuver it to slip it through in one piece. Don't forget to use the new gaskets. It's really self-explanitory when you lay it out. Sorry, I don't have pix, but you really won't need them by the time you get the stock system off. Lotsa Luck!
