Any One Interested in a group deal on a fiber images CF hood get in here

Ok so to get the ball rolling for you guys I went ahead and called FI for you. This thread is just the info on what the group buy would consist of NOT THE ACTUAL GROUP DEAL

The hood is normally $575.00 shipping is between $100 and $150 depending on location

They said they dont normaly do group deals on hoods that are already produced but since I buttered him up telling him how great my hoods is and how I recomend everyone to him he said he could do two things for me.

option one

10 hoods - approx time till they were done 2.5 to 3.5 weeks since they only have one mold of our hood so they can do one every other day.

price $450.00 + shipping and he needs half down for a deposit. He needs half the money from everybody to start the deal, shipping remains the same.

option two,

I have a dealers license and can get them wholesale (buy all ten) at $375 a hood and shipped to one location for $500 so thats $425 per hood shipped to me, now I have no intention of laying out $4250.00 so Im gonna need all the money up front.
Now keep in mind this is alot of time and work on my hands so im gonna tack on another $25 per hood which is not even close to what my time is worth or the favors im gonna have to call in, but if you guys really want them Im willing to help out the 3rd gen community, but the thing is Im not gonna ship them back out once I get them, so you guys will have to pick them up from me in NY, or arrange the shipping and pick up of your hood.

now I doubt youll find ten people but for the future now you guys know so we dont have to have 20 threads about a hood being made.

$425 shipped to me, + my $25 fee and what ever it costs to get the hood from me to calamazoo, or where ever you be at.

If most guys are close enough and can pick up the hood from here it saves them a buck fifty on shipping, thats why I gave this option.

I'm in

I'm in for option one.

Do you really want to do option 2? That's a big pain in the butt. And who's going to be responsible if the hood is damaged? You don't want that headache. I can't even imagine how you would ship one of those. I don't think the UPS store ships car hoods. But then again I've never tried it.

I've also wanted to get a carbon fiber trunk. Is that something Fiberglass Images can make? Is anyone else interested in getting a carbon fiber trunk? Maybe we can get a better deal if we buy both. I guess we'll have to see the interest.
