it looks like this on the car EXCEPT the top of the center has a strip of black vinyl on it and the bottom of the center piece is tinted to match the skyline tails. I have to wait for the sun to come up to do the pics and type of justice.

So did you just like tape two cirlces on there and not tint those parts? Or does that red naturally show thru? It looks so nice!

No the tail lights are actually painted like that. I bought them like that from neverending(org member) so i matched the middle piece to them.

Sweet, they look awesome. I'm still working on a design I want for mine. I'm thinking along the lines of the v used for caddies... but I'm still thinking it over. Trying to get something that goes with the body lines.

How well does the turn signals show up? I'm not worried too much about my reverse lights, seeing how they don't work anyway.

It wasnt hard to do probably because I was in the house this time, and i had a hair dryer in one hand and the spray tint in the other...alternating.

as a reminder, check your local laws before doing this.
some states will fail your inspection if they feel light output is inadequate.

Only thing im concerned about is that the lights and middle piece will lose their reflective tail light look and look too smooth and like simple paint.....any input on the texture and consistancy?

As far as tail light texture goes, it's as glossy and smooth as the paint is anywhere else. The middle piece is just a piece of self-stick vinyl so it looks the same. But for the parts that were tinted, if they fade or anything, I'll just do them again.

tinted tailights

the tinted tailights look good, but aren't worth the hassle, if you are going to be pulled over all the time.

Local police around here haven't said anything about it when I have been puled over for tabs or something, but State Patrol are pretty **** about it and so I just drive with parking lights on so that it looks like there is nothing on them at all while driving on the freeway
