Wrecked max, now what?

Well I hit a service truck. It was kinda my fault and kinda his, I can post the whole story but I want to get this over with.

So my front bumper is destroyed, its mount, the right frame rail is off a few deg (30mph), the fluid containers are gone, front right head light is too, front radiator mount, intake manifold, MAF, front fuse box (slightly chipped, still works), the trannys damaged as there was ATF all over. I think thats about it. Im fine, and the interior is perfect as always. Ive looked it over alot and it looks like it can be fixed unless the upper radiator mount is welded or cant be fixed, every thing else can, just to what expense. I can get high quality pics if some one can reccomend whether I part out the car or fix it. Untill then theres 2 cars I can borrow. Thanks for the help.

The engin is fine, It was idling right after I hit the truck. But it wont run now that there isn't any coolent in it so Im not going to start it.

thats never any fun. the upper radiator support is one big piece both upper and lower. the entire front end has to come off. then it has to be cut out (all spot welded) and then the new one needs to be welded in. the metal part is only like $50 but a body shop will charge an arm and a leg to do it.

It's not worth it too fix. It'll possibly go into the 1000's. Get a new max IMO.

Say I get all the parts from others part out cars, and do the labor my self (well me and my friend, hes super experianced and if he tore a car completely down he could rebuild it. Hes smart and hes got all the tools) would it be worth it? Assuming the parts are priced pretty good.

This car means alot to me and the orginal owners. I love my maxima and I'd hate to part it out. If it means alot of work, I can do it. Thanks for the help.

*edit*Im just going to part out the car if there isn't any good maxs in the local junk yards or one dosn't turn up in the next few days. untill then im going to strip the frontend to see whats broke and not, Gotta do it any way wether i part it or rebuild it*

I wouldn't fix it. just because it's an auto. But I would keep it as well and use it for parts.

I wish keeping it as a parts car was an option. I make about $120 a week at my job and it was easy supporting my hobbies untill now. Im going to get every last dime out of parts from this car and ill probably end up with a 95 beater eclipse (sp i know). Its was one of the org cars i wanted to trick out but my ins is gonna suck. Or i might end up with my friends enginless rx7. All it needs is a decent engin and im off. either way ill have a car soon.

Man I just got done cleaning it out and I realize how nice this car is. The int is in pristine condition, except a few stains here and there and the paint is great, no rust nothin. Untill i got it jan 11th it was babied and really taken care of. Id didnt take that good care of it bc my job and the cold weather, and of it had been as nice as it was today a few weeks ago i woulda fixed the sterio, wing, heat, and any thing else it needed. Sigh. Oh well its over with now....I'll sure miss it.
