When do I need a chamber kit?

intrax is 1.75 in drop all around. most people dont need camber kits for anything above a 1.5 in drop, anything lower (intrax, sprint, arospeed) will most likely need one. i have intrax and i need a camber kit only for the front, the back is fine.

once you put the springs on, take it to the alignment shop, and just get the reading. it won't cost much. if there is enough tolerance and adjustment in the rear, then you don't need the kit, however, if you can't adjust the camber back to stock tolerances, then you need it all around. Don't be cheap! it'll cost ya in tires later.

About the Intrax being 1.75 all around...

They say it's 1.75/1.5 on their site. So I'm assuming that's what it is. I don't know if that's for auto or 5sp. My car's a 5sp, so lighter in the front. The additional drop will hopefully make the car look level (instead of nose up).
2nd: If I go the route of installation, take it to get aligned, then install the plates, how much additional work would it be to install the plates? Do I just unbolt from the top strut towers and somehow fit them in? Or do I need to take out the bottom bolt too? (I guess I'm lazy, huh? hehe)

i've never heard the term "notch it" but it most likely means that he can fix the camber using the oem parts. meaning you wont need a kit, because there is enough adjustment in the stock parts that it will fix it.
