very nice and clean. now get some tinted clear corners and change ur tails to the '92-'94 SE tails. also i would get rid of the pinstripe and get the Jap plate and put it lower like where my German plate is on my car.

overall ur car looks nice.

actually i did tint the corners, and turnsignals, and light in the spoiler, put on 92-94 ve tails and tinted them. I kinda like the plate, it looks different and since the car is japanese....

If you do ever decide to remove the pinstrip I'd like to share a bit of my experience with the job. I recieved some bad advice from people that were supposedly 'experienced' that left me using a lot of rubbing compund, they suggested to use some 1500 grit sandpaper (wet sanding).

In the end I found out that the pin strip came off effortlessly using mineral spirits. I believe my tint was factory, since what aftemarket place paints on pin strip? (it would be real expensive, right?). The mineral spirts did not harm the paint in any way (would have to be a lot stronger like acetone or toluene).

O yeah, you max looks tight, nice work!

Makes me wanna do a 3 coat wax job if it weren't 20F out side

For some ungodly reason, the first owner of my car had pinstripes painted on. They are freaking light blue, too. That's why I have the big ghey black stripe covering it up.

Kikcaffeine, your car looks really nice. The wheels and stillen lip look clean and the total package is really sharp. I think the UK corners would look good on your car, kind of like awsm66's. I think Brian has them for sale still. I am a fan of the VE tails and grill, but I am biased.

As for the plate, I think GRNMAXDMON just thought you should mount the plate lower, like he mounted his German one, not get rid of it.

One of the first things I did when I got my 92 was take the pin stripe off...not a pin stripe fan.

leave the pinstripe!!
actually it looks kinda brown/gold in one pic so I'd take it off then
mine is white and looks awesome

they make a rubber wheel that fits into a standard drill to remove pinstripes very easily

I used the rubber wheel. It left some marks though so I just went over it with the buffer. I could have just used regular wax or something but its just easier with a buffer .

Looks very cool. Almost new. Keep up the clean work

BTW - Has anyone mated the 92-94 black trim tails, with the 89-91 black center peice? Was really wondering how that would look...

Aww, damn.. Really? It looked that bad? I did a simulation in MS paint, and it didn't look too bad. Check it out. You wouldn't happen to have pics of it, would ya?

that's pretty good paint

The lower part (the white part of the inner piece and the turn signals of the outer pieces) wont line up from 89-91 to 92-94. One is slightly smaller than the other. It'll physically bolt on but wont look right.
