Sound system HELP!

Hi, this is my first post. I am in the process of replacing the speakers in my 93 Maxima. I got a 12" Sub and a pair of Pioneer 6x9s, but I still do not know what to get for the front doors.

What size are those speakers?

How do I get the door molding off so I can get access to the speakers?

Thanks!

I fit 6x9s in the door panels not very good but they are in there. the bottom of the door panel sticks out a little bit but not that big a deal to me.

I have a 92 max gxe, I don't know about a 93 but my bose speakers are 4x6's. if you go on ebay and shop for audio stuff, a lot of the time if you click on the item such as speakers, it will give you an option towards the upper right side of the page to see if the speaker will fit in your vehicle and then you just put in your vehicle info.

to take the door molding off there is a plastic circular piece covering a screw, I think there are two of these around the edge of the panel, after you pop those off you unscrew the screws, the rest of the panel should just pop off around the edges.

Your Bose was not 4x6. that was the non-bose. Bose uses 4" speakers up front.

James92SE sells mounting brackets for 6.5" speakers in the fronts. Probably easier to use than installing replacement speakers for the BOSE. Got mine in today. Love em!
