My next project...

Just closed on it for $500. It has trouble starting in colder weather so I am getting a new battery and a Ground kit within the next few weeks and see how that does. It's a 5-speed with 208k on it and it was proven by carfax. It was also involved in a minor accident in 1999 but it's fixed. Best of all is that it's from a stealership and I have a 90 day warrantee on it. How you like?

I am pretty sure all 1989 SE's had sunroofs, the were optional beggining in 92 when the VE came out IIRC.

Mercedes would be my first guess too, but those headrests don't seem like their style.

That's the pic they e-mailed to me. I'm picking her up next week I found it on autotrader.com It was like 800 originally but they lowered the price since noone could find out the reason that it wouldn't start in the cold weather. It was 800 until the blizzard we had up here. I am gonna be trouble shooting this issue my whole weekend next week.

I dont understand why the dealership wouldnt have put in a new battery to see if that helped the starting problem...I wouldnt go wasting money on a battery unless i knew it needed one. You should test the volts on it when you crank it and when its just chillin...
so now you got two busted 3rd gens? or do they both run? what are your plans? to rock them both out? or swap in the 5spd?

My GXE is gettin out of the tranny shop later this week. I wanted this one for a turbo project. He told me when the weather gets below freezing it won't start p. It would turn over but sometime it won't crank. I am checking all of the relays when I go pick it up. If anything I will check for a voltage leak and so on. I really don't want to put alot more money into the GXE I really just want it to and from work. The SE is really gonna be hard driven until the summer. It's not a Nissan dealership either it's just a car lot. If somethings wrong with the engine then there's a VG30ET for sale in northern CT for $450 and the boneyard said that it was from a totaled 87 z31 last year and they still have the car and all if I want to check the VIN for it.
