I own a 93 SE and my cigarette lighter only works occasionally. I have tried wiggling the socket (to rule out a short) to no avail. Also, My fog lamps don't work (they short out the fuse when I replace it). Any Suggestions?

 

theres a fuse for the cig lighter on the right side of the fuse box

 

For your fog lights, there's a short to the ground somewhere... i.e. a positive wire is stripped back and touching the body or the ground wire.

Check all your wiring and find where it's damaged
