Autos? won't work at all.

5 spds, will bit, but it's not recommended.
axles are smaller diameter so you have to change wheel hubs as well.
the tranny has no LSD.

Another question is that would a VQ transmission (5 spd)fit in a VE motor and if so what exactly would you need to do a swap??

i am looking towards doing a 5 spd swap from auto. and the reason that i asked is because most of the trannies i can find with east texas is all from a VQ. i was really looking for a 5spd off a ve but i cannot find one anywhere in texas and when i finaly find one out of texas i have to pay hefty charges for shipping. thats why i was asking if the two where compatible.

thanks i advance
