buzzing noise in speakers
i know that there was another topic on this, but i cannot find it, sorry for posting alot but i am new and have many problems. ok when i turn on my car, stereo on, i hear a weird buzzing sound in my speakers, my guess would be the alternator, is there some kinda filter or something that would get rid of that????? or what else could be causing he problem????

if you have BOSE i would take a look at the amps, however if it is a kind of whistling type of sound then it is caused by electro magnetic interference. all of the wires that carry current in your car while the car is running have a small electric field around them, which can cause interference with the sound system and make a noise that sounds almost like you have a turbo, as it increases as you accelerate. good luck
nice max by the way

I had the same problem when I replaced my entire stereo one of them was grounding out. Make sure you check all the ground wires. Don't jump to conclusions about the alternator, it's an expensive part and you don't want to replace it and come to find that you still have the same problem. If you really wanna check it take your car to autozone or checker and they will hook your batt up and check for you.
