My car is sputtering on second and third and fourth gears between 2200 and 3500 rpms. I was going to replace the EGR valve and the O2 sensor as well as the fuel injectors as well as clean the throttle body out. I was wondering how much eAch cost? Which one is most important to change? which EGR valve do I change (the control solenoid valve or the regular valve) and is the throttle body the same as the throttle chamber? If you know the answers you are a good maxima owner. Thank

Im having similar problems with My Maxipad.
The problem with this and other newer computer controlled cars, is they are very sensitive, and have too many sensors and valve thingys.
All it takes is for one of its many sensors or valves to malfunction, the ecu will then pick up something is wrong, making it run like crap.
Its really been ****ing me off. One mechanic has given up and insists the car has a lot of power for the year it is, Hes a goof, so hes cut off.
This other guys notices there is power lacking at times, So he will be the next contestant to figure out the Maxi.

yeah i know the answers..but if you don't know that makes YOU a bad maxima owner!

OEM prices
EGR - ~$50
O2 - ~$100
Fuel Injector - ~$100 each X6
Cleaning the TB - can of cleaner $3 bucks.

First, it would make things easier if you said which Maxima you had.
Since you have a VG engine, I would check the ignition first. Unless the plugs, wires, cap, rotor and ignition coil are in good shape you will have a misfire, and it will run lousy in the RPM range you state.
The next thing to check is the O2 sensor, then the injectors. The EGR valve and TB will effect the idle most.

Brubenstein, I wish I had you as my neighbor.
