600 miles on 1 tank of gas
wish my car can get 35 mpg, especially at the current price of gas (2.75 per gallon). Since I got the car in august 2003 I can do 320 mile on 12 gallon nonstop driving from eastern washington to western washington traveling at about 60 mph. And only about 205 mile at halfway mark about 10 gallon driving in town/city.
When I was stock I would pull some 400 miles out of a tank if it was mostly or all highway. 300 for city and highway. Now I am lucky if I get 300 for highway with all my mods cause I love to floor it so much! although I did get 310 once on a tank with all highway and one autox.

WTF is up with people giving us their mileage by going on the gas gauge?? the gauge is Inaccurate to say you got 600 miles on 1 tank....if you filled it to top, and went to half, then filled again...I would say you used a tank an 1/4... because from the actuall full line to half...is more than from half to E because of Innacurate gauge....next time you want to brag about your "good mileage" give us at least some info with some sort of support. i guaranteee for a fact you got LESS than 600 miles on a full tank

I've gotten 30mpg once on my drive from Las Vegas to NC. It was on the backside of the Flagstaff moutains in AZ while it was 10 below zero!
But, I've done several 29mpg trips with 50-70 degree weather and level surfaces between FL and NC and Las Vegas and NC and FL. 26-28mpg is the normal for me for all highway.
For all city, 19-21mpg is normal for me with my high stall torque converter. Just today, I filled up and got 21.6mpg, which is the best I've gotten in a while for 100% city driving... but I think I drove easier on this tank. BTW, my car is much lighter than most VEs, so it probably evens out the effect of having a higher stall TC.

I dont know about all this talk about 5 or 600 miles per tank. i fill mine all the way up and always go down to 1/8 b-4 refill and I get about 330-350 miles. 400 i might believe but 500 or 600 id have to say show me the money or say bull s**t sorry im a realist not a dreamer.
