Engine temps are high....HELP

so my engine feels very hot, and my exhaust is hot too, i'm not sure its normal because most other cars aren't that hot when i stand right next to it. my temp gauge looks normal. but i'm worried anyways. is there anyway i can cool down my engine more?

Make sure you have adequate coolant flow. You may also want to make sure you're not running too lean. That will raise eng temps, also. Is this a new problem, or recurring?

Check your coolant level, and make sure your fans are turning on. If you run the car on a hot day just parked, the fans should turn on after a couple minutes. Aside from that, and as long as the coolant temp is halfway or less on the gauge, you should be fine. Make sure your climate control blows plenty of hot air too. With the car running and parked, the heat coming out of the vents should not cool down much, if at all.

I have heard of a racing radiator. what will that do? Is there something I can add to my coolant in order to lower the temp?
