Behind glovebox water .

Yesterday , i discovered some water drips on my passenger side carpet . I crawled under the dash and i found a round-shaped piece , wich seems to be the fan blower ( already been change from a junkyard part , judging from the yellow marked number ) . Anyway , the pieces is surrounded by a metal ring wich seems to be rusted on the bottom . I think that water inflitrate there , cause some foam isolator ( or kinda , dunno how to say ) nearby was wet too .

Did someone got the same problem ? do you know which part i am talkin about ? Thats directly behind the glove box , under the dash . I ll try to take some pics .

Thanks !

Maybe condensation from when running the air conditioner? Is the air really humid where you are?

You might want to check and make sure it isnt your heater core.

Yeah , it happenned after 2 days of hard raining .

Heater core ? I don't think so ... Prestone level is the same since a while , and the liquid is water , not coolant . I ll check it anyway thanks .

Anyway , maybe it is , i think this thing is ****ed up ( the fan ) it makes some noise during level 4 operation , and thats an old part . I ll check it this week end

sounds like the cowl is dripping water into the blower and causing it to do all that mess.

have fun cleaning all that up..
