dark spot on splash guard below fuel vapor canister
I have been having ****ty gas mileage lately, and my car is in my cousins shop, he is doing a lookthrough/fine tune up, and hooking it up to his computer, and he is doing an emissions test on it.......
I noticed when I was showing him how to turn off my backup alarm and such, a dark spot right under my fuel vapor canister....the rubber hoses on it all look, well, they dont even look rubber anymore, they look soft, he said vapors just come from there, so i shouldn't be leaking gas there....How hard are these hoses to replace, and what kind of hose should I get?
I noticed it looked like 1 or 2 of them are ones that go to a main fuel line, because it goes into this specially rubber and insulated wrapped thing, that also has a fuel hose that goes to the fuel rail area(haven't tracked it down really)
