FSTB instal - holy cow!!!!

so i got my first mod from the friendly man in brown last night.
an otto racing version to be specific.
i take it out of the box and i'm thinking "man did i get ripped off!!"
it's so light i couldn't imagine that it could actually add any rigidity to the front end - there's no way this thing can handle the torque of the front end flex i thought to myself.

so i zipped on the brackets and then the two bolts for the bar.
as i started out on the decisive after-mod-install road test and thought i was in for the psychsomatic trip of my life.

OMG!!!! is all i have to say.

turns that normally screech my tires without even trying i now fly right through without a peep. the car stays flatter than ever - it really is like driving another car.

then i started thinking - if this car had that much flex before the bar install it must be ready to crack right in half!!

long story longer - this bar RULES!!!!

hey man...thanks for the follow up - hella cool dude!!

i saw the pages for the ebrake adjustment but as i read them it seems like the only adjustment is the 10mm nut at the handle - which is bottomed out on my car. ipicked up some replacement calipers and figured i'll rebuild them and install them to see if there's a difference. after theat will be a last resort at new cables - man that's gonna hurt.

i looked at courtesy for the AE stuff but then i saw the thread for the autovation pedals - so now i'm torn...but i think i'm feelin the ae stuff just a bit more...

The difference with the FSTB is modest compared to the rear sway bar, at least it was on my car.

Get any one you can get your hands on for cheaper. Addco is technically better. But both are TONS better than the stock string rsb

Since matt only listed 2, it's odd that he would only ask if 2 of the 4 mods matt mentioned were actually installed.

wow didn't realize I created such a stir. I was asking in regards to all of his products. The rear parallel links, rear strut brace, front end sway bars... etc. I was actually intending to ask him how much of an improvement he felt as he installed each one.

No drama. Just passing time.

How else is anyone going to get anything from a "FSTB install" thread?

Hey you're waking up... I'm pushing 19 hours of being awake. Just got done working a 12 hour shift also. Speaking of which, I have to get up again tomorrow, and do it all over again. I've got a chevy 3500 van calling my name wanting to be fixed. Ugghhh, not much longer and I'm out of this place. Go home, be in my nice soft bed with my wife.

If you like long shifts, little pay, and being shot at... join the military. Worst thing is... I'm pushing for retirement.

What he meant does not = what he typed. Hard to tell what he means when he types something else.

Quite odd as they share identical suspension components.
