phone book
look under "automotive repairs" and see if there are any places that advertise import engines.
If nothing in your area, there are several places you can find them that will ship them for an extra fee. Mine came from a place near Seattle and they shipped it free anywhere in the Puget Sound area.
You should use the same type of engine that is already in your car. You haven't given much information about what you need and what you are planning on doing.
If you have a 92-94 SE, that would be a VE30DE. If you have any other 3rd gen, you need a VG30E.
Look in the stickies under "3rd Gen Mod info" I think in the second post there is a link to JDM sources and information.

www.venus-auto.com & http://www.jarcoinc.com/
I was considering putting a 1jz-gte in an JZA70 Supra, probably would have bought from either one if they had it in stock.
