Tint Pics
Stayed up late last night and layed some tint. I did 20 % on the rear windshield and 20 on the rear windows, it came out really dark from some angles. I dont know if want to do 20 on the front windows cuz its 35% is the limit in MA. The rear window was near impossible. As u can see its not perfect. No bubbles but you can see the dark line created when the strips overlap. Im gona try to cut those out today. The last strip on the bottem where very difficult . Anyone know how to take out that rear deck? that would make things alot easier....anyway check out the pics came out good for a do it yourself job

You can just like remove the rear seats, the first one comes out easy, then the back rest one, there's like two screws, then that one just like pops up!! Then that carpet thing has like those clip things. it goes pretty easy, sometimes that back rest seat can be a ***** to pop of, cause it sorta like has these three hook type of things, that's why you have to like push up^^^^^ Hope that help, but you prob. already figured it out, by now!!! i would make sure about 35% up front in ma. when i got mine inspected last summer the guy who passed it the year before said i had to take it off. and it wasn't as dark as yours. oh, and just an aside, i find that i get by with stuff when my wife takes the cars to get insected instead of me. any of you that work at a garage would probably agree

pfft, around here, 90% of men who take a car to be inspected, get passed without it even being looked at. This is especially true if you know the mechanic fairly well..by the same token, 90% of women take a car to be inspected, and the shop wont let it pass til every little tiny thing is fixed..

Legal Window Tint - State Laws
You're right about that 35% law in MA. It's 35% for both sides and rear, meaning that your rear sides are already too dark (according to the law).
Here's a website showing all state laws for window tinting:
