Headlights

Lately ive been reversing everything ive done to my car. Now im thinking of going back to my stock headlights. Either that or getting some different E36's. What do you think?

With the stock headlights I get a cleaner look, brighter light, but no angel eyes. Im having mixed feelings about the lights i have, not sure if some other ones would look better.

there are plenty of better things to do to your car, especially since you already have that mod. But if you change them out, I'll take your e-36s.

you get a brighter light with stock vs E36?

I thought it was the other way around.

I have dual projectors and they suck booty. I have the brightest foglights known to man and i still see potholes just in time, sometimes too late. I was going to get H.I.D.'s but ive spent so much on these already.

I guess my taste is changing. I want things to look simple but nice at the same time. Like stainless steal appliances. For example I had done the white door inserts and was going to do the two tone seats. Now I changed my whole interior to jet black again. I really like how the headlights fit perfectly on the car. The E36's break the lines a little. Plus our corners dont look right with them at all, tinted or not. I thought about getting the one piece one's with the corners attatched but i dont want to shave my fenders.

go stock...I like my stock lights...now a days its different to go stock lol.

If I want to keep the e36s then do the covers on them to smooth the lines out and match the car.

^^^ i think the e36 lights would look sick with a small tint to it. but the stock might be your best bet.

I really think the black E36s generally look better. But on your white car, especially with that white grill, the chrome looking E36s would win my vote.

I need to decide whether to do the e36 conversion or leave it stock, as well. Are there any really sweet bulbs that fit in the stock headlights?

I have the same aftermarket E36 lights you do. The output of those lights are horrible. I upgraded to some SilverStar bulbs and have an excellent set of driving lights, this combination makes driving safe. I believe these lights like we have are designed to run together (both projecters on each side/ total 4) to get good ground coverage. I've played around and got them both on and the road coverage is excellent even with crappy bulbs. Here is my opinion, remove the projectors THEMSELVES and then paint the black housings white to match the car, reinstall the projectors. I recommend upgrading to 6000k HID or something, this will be one of my next mods after my turbo is installed, to upgrade to HID.

i think the chrome ones will go well with your white car. the ones you have now looked good while your stillen kit was black, but now that it is painted, the chrome should look better.

I think those E36s look awesome but i see what you mean by the lines, the stock lights would look nice and even better if you got the clear corners (couldnt tell from the pic if you had them or not) to complete the look.
