stupid problem

I have a really stupid and annoying problem. I have a 12'' sub in my trunk in a custom made box. The box was made to mount flush with the narrowest part of the trunk. its about a foot wide, 2 feet high and the length leaves about two inches of clearance on each side. Anyway, I go to school in a place with hills that rival san francisco and almost daily I hear a thud when driving which indicates the speaker box has once again fallen over on its face. This is really starting to **** me off, not to mention that its probably not too good for the speaker and amp. I've been brainstorming ideas and haven't come up with a good one yet. Please put on your thinking caps and help me out.

L brackets on the front of the box..course..that doesn't work well if you've got the factory slightly-tougher-than-wet-cardboard piece that covers the spare tire

i hope you've already replaced your rear window that's pretty lame that shop managed to bust it out...i can't think of a good reason why they would have done that besides a temper tantrum. however that's still not a good reason.

I replaced it myself. I took my car after threatening to whoop his hind parts. (Didn't pay him for the job either)

L brackets would work. put a layer of plywood etc for a good base for the brackets to screw into. OR you can go cheap and use some heavy duty bungee cords (like me ) and fasten it to the metal bar that goes behind the rear seat.

Good call... I think I have some extra bungee cords laying around. That will work for now.
