CV shaft, NEED HELP!

i got the driver side cv shaft in. However, on the passenger side the support bearing refuses to come out of the support bearing bracket. All three bolts are out i can get the flanges to turn if i beat on it really hard. any ideas on how to get it out???

Use a long rod and put it though the D-side of the tranny and tap the axle out from that side. Or gently try to move the axle inside the carrier bearing after spraying the hell out of it with WD40 or similar.

i took out the drivers side again and there is a horizontal bar in the transmission between the two shafts making it difficult to hit on. Should i be hitting on the horizontal bar?

I have no idea what ur talkin about with a horizontal bar. When i did the same thing it is a straight shot through. If that is causing you trouble than put a pry bar between the support bearing bracket (the one with those 3 PITA bolts) and the axle and pop it out. When i removed the trany, I left the drivers axle in and just pulled the tranny off both the passenger axle and driveshaft. I got the passenger axle out with the dowel method. But i had to rebuild the passenger axle, so I used the pry bar to get that one out. Mine was fairly rusted inside the support and mine is an AZ car so you might have an even worse time.
