I recently bought new Phillips BlueWhite front bulbs which look really nice and bright. Unfortunately, the side lights by the turning signals are not bright at all and actually seem to give off very ugly yellow light. It looks aweful.
Anyone know what kind of bulbs are used in those so I can go and replace them? That way I will get nice white light all around, not just in the front.

You can look in any walmart or car shop and find a catalog with the model number. I replaced my bulbs but I'm not sure what the numbers are. Even after changing the bulbs it doesn't make much of a difference from the yellowish stock bulbs. The lenses are pretty foggy on stock side lamps. I'm pretty sure that if you get clear corners and new bulbs then you will get what your looking for.

It's times like this when

I like to look at my OWNER'S MANUAL! Just look under bulbs and it lists all the bulbs on the car. Has anyone put blue bulbs in there? Maybe that would look pretty cool!

Interesting Idea

I actually might put blue bulbs in there. Just to see how it looks. Thanks for the idea.

here's how it would look with blue bulbs
<img src="http://www.prism.gatech.edu/~gte671n/images/genek.jpg">
the reflectors inside the corner really make the whole thing look blue; I'm not sure if the stock corners do that as much as the clear corners (the ones in the pic) do.
as for the bulb, the bulb # is 1157 with wattage of 27/8 (27 for when blinker is on, 8 for when it is normal dull light)
you can pick up the colored bulbs at local auto parts store (pep boys,etc)
also, if you want the corner light to be bright all the time, go to my webpage and it's in the rewire section

The blue bulbs look really cool on the max esspecially when you just have the parking lights on and the fogs. For the guys that want to install them I just want you to remember that they are really illegal. When you turn your turn signal on they are bright as hell. If the cops are asses in your area you might be asking for some tickets.

Its not illegal to have your cornering lights on, but it is illegal to have them on with blue bulbs. You cant have any bulbs on the outside that resemble an emergency vehicle.

Turn Signal Bulb Replacement

I was just looking for advice on how to replace the front right turn signal bulb. The blinking yellow one underneath the bumper. Since it went out, I've noticed that the rear light and the turn signal light on the dash blink twice as fast. I'm not very handy, but I'm thinking turn signal replacement shouldn't be too hard. Any advice or instructions or should I just have a garage do it for me? Thanks.
