BIGGER fenders
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW
This just got me thinking, wide fenders just look REALLY mean and this would add the curves i'm trying to get out of our boxes. Of course it wouldn't look right with out the right wheel and spacers. Anyone have any thoughts?
It would be pretty easily molded into my kit.

Only ONE person that I know of on .org has done fender flares right http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=399439
And it wasn't cheap from what I read. Probably cost him more to do the fenders and paint than what our cars are worth.
I guess because you do bodywork, you can do it though. But the first time you hit anything, the flare would just shatter as it's fiberglass??
BTW. He's running my bbk kit. heh

lol..... I say 'molded' to get ya in here. But this is what i'm thinking about. Sure, what do ya think? other than the mold issue.
I have some concern with the Urethane's physics with hot and cold. Fiberglass doesn't budge in heat. THe plan is to mold the seems with fiberglass. I think it'll hold up. AND ALOT of epoxy.

i think the 3rd gen's wheel wells are wide enough without those monstrocities on there. if you're planning on running a huge lipped wheel , maybe, but even then i think you have more than enough room in the wheel wells. to each his own, but, your car will go from clean and subtle to rice with a side of fries with those flares. i've seen smaller/more tasteful ones, besides, you have a grinder and a welder, widen yours instead
