climate control

I have a 1990 SE and my climate control are all screwed up. the only settings I have are off and 4. Nothing between works! I need to know how to fix this with the summer months coming up. Any help would be much appreciated.

Possibly the blower resistor burned. Find another and replace, easy fix. If that does not correct your problem, maybe its the sw; replace climate ctrl assy (more complicated); seek hlp for that from craig's homepage.

Its a screwable tingie on the side of cooling unit; some wires connected, about 2x2inches.

I'll assume it is the lower green arrow though.

If u mean that pic, no sir. Its just nissans way to draw a poor pic to explain the airflow in boxes... U have to look in the car, pass side, under glovebox. For maint manuals, see Links on my page 1. As said, resistor assy is attached into the side of the depicted assy.
