Yeah, the misfire could be due to the ignition, I take it you already checked the plugs for cracks. As a side note, my AFR changes a bit with the temperature, when it's warm out (I suppose I should say when the air is less dense, since it can lean out at night too) I run a little leaner. Not much, maybe 0.2:1 difference, but just thought I'd throw that out there. If the power changes as much as you say it does, I doubt AFR is the main cause.

Hey, not to dig up an old thread, but I'm wondering how the auto is holding up.. I'm pending some serious mods and want to weigh all my options :-)

Are you tuneing with a wideband? When my VG was non intercooled it's performance varied ALOT between cold and warm. With the intercooler (and tuneing) it's very consistant. I'm actualy board with mine because there's not much to do to it now... Other than wish it was RWD.

The only thing I've done is make a different down pipe and change the oil in the last 6months.

I would Love a turbo. But for now I am working on Style. That and replacing a fuel injecter... pffft 300$
