3rd gen almost stalling

3rd gen almost stalling

hi all. a friend of mine has a 3rd gen with a problem so i am tryin to help her fix it. anyway the problem is this. in neutral the car runs fine but a soon as u put it under load be it reverse or any of the forward gears the revs drop very low and almost stall the car. this happens everytime reguardless of the running temp of the car.

the car has 132,000 miles on it and its a n auto 1993 model

It sounds like you have the same problem I have. Does the chugging go away after a few seconds though??? Mine does....and I changed the plugs and wires and all, thats why I think its an injector problem.

you have to tell use which model it is,

is it a gxe or se,

The problem coud be anything, symptoms may sound the same.

Max is loaded with electronics, and injector is just one amongst many. I suggest maintenance for ignition and then everythin else. In the end, after cleaning electrical connectors, testing sensors, self diagnostics could be useable. If still all point to injectors, replace them after giving it some kind injector -snake oil into gastank.

Mine is have a bad problem too. its a 91 SE and i get code 5 red 1 green... but that isnt a code.. so i have no clue.. anyone know this code? do you have a code?

code 51 is supposes to be a california code for injector misfire IIRC
