nub injector question

I'm ready to buy some injectors but can't seem to find the dot. 4dsc.com says, "The dot is on the harness connector." I have a silver dot on cylinder 4 harness. On internetautomart.com it says, "with blue or black markings on original injector." Would I have to pull injectors out to see the dot if its on the injector? "I have been told you can use either one, but can't mix and match. I doubt it would hurt mixing and matching though, just so long as you get the right one for your car. The dot is on the harness connector." Does it even matter as long as I get the right ones for my year and engine? I'm replacing all 6.

yeah, if you're replacing all 6, it won't matter. just make sure you don't buy those reman'd vg injectors.

when you but new injectors, Bosch combines the black dot and the blue dot together because one of them can take the place of the other, but not the other way around.
reman's are a bad investment unless you like doing labor twice.

I'm probably getting rid of the car in less than a year so remans are a good investment for me. Plus my car already has 182000 miles on it.

The color coding on the injectors is for manufacturing tolerances. The factory (Nissan) states that there are minute tolerance changes in the tooling during manufacturing, when the tooling gets near the end of a production run, they use the other color(or so i'm told). I've heard of several shops that have mixed injectors with no apparent problem. The color is just below the connector toward the center of the engine.

i mean, like he says, hes getting rid of the car soon. don't you think reman's are the way to go? personally, my reman's are running strong for almost a yr now

so the reason the new nissan injectors dont fail that run 100 bucks each, is because they changed the design on them?

there are people who have run a LONG time on remans. there are others that don't even last a week. unfortunately the second case is WAY more common.

and the new injectors for some models have been updated
