I was curious to know how those V6 rustangies fit. But in no way was I going to actually spend any time/$ trying to find out. hehe.

Can't quite see how someone would NOT like the look of these wheels while running the 16" V6 mustang wheels hehe. But there's always someone out there not liking your stuff.

I got people giving me crap about the Mustang wheels I used to run.

1st ones:

They weigh about 22lbs a tire (tire mounted on rim). A great mod that looks better than the ugly stock Maxima wheels, and saves weight from having to get a bigger rim. Perfect for racing on/off the track. I got the idea from Aaron92. But i'm not going to run mazda millenia wheels on my max like he does.
And by sound I meant that I have 1 JL audio W7 and blaupunkt speakers all the way around.

that was a joke link

Those wheels are 15x8" 6x4.5" and have 33" BFG All Terrians on them (although in the picture they had 31" All Terrians with 60k on them), there is no way in hell anyone will ever fit them on a maxima.

well ok so your rims were free, that doesnt make them cool/good looking rims.
is there a reason you have to act like youre better than me? i mean great youve got some more hp and so you might have better speakers, but

I don't think your wheel and tire together weigh only 22lbs.

why not pick up some Kosei (sp?) K1's or something? They actually look good and are extremely light.

I'm dying at the W7 paired with Blaupunkt . I'd rather spend more on components and have a sub for fill then dump that kind of money on just the sub.

I didn't mean to bash. I just said they look terrible. Maybe that was a little harsh. Sorry. I guess what i meant to say was that I would've gone a different style. Those rims look expensive.
But I don't like that you said my rims are ugly. In my opinion, it's the best mod you can do in the looks/weight department.

well we have a scale here at work. Not very accurate, because it's made to measure in hundreds of pounds. The needle was touching just over 20, so i figure that its gotta be about 22-23lbs a tire. I could be wrong.

you worry about the weight of your wheels, yet you keep that heavy crap in your trunk?

I did the stereo thing on the 93 Auto, didn't bother with my white car even though I did wire it with 4gauge and 3 pairs. Bimmer has 2 10w6v2's powered by a 1000/1 and MB Quart PCE's powered by a 450/4

I think they look sweet and Jon is worried they are cutting into his IS300 wheel territory, thats all that matters

Well, not hurt, but look at it this way, your bragging about how your rims are Gods gift to your Max; but it's the only thing you got going for your car right now. You're going to need more than just rims to be able to judge someone else, when you're the one that started this thread asking how did they look on your car. Next time you ask someone for an HONEST opinion, make sure you ask them to LIE if they don't like what they see.

It's not in my car right now. That's a competion sub and I only have it in the car like once or twice a month. The box that it came with including the Sub weighs just over a 100lbs. I leave the sub out of the car most of the time because the bass really gives me headaches. There is such a thing a TOO MUCH bass.

Let's see one of the few 15" Pilots. 205-50-15 (which is way small btw) Pilot H4s weigh in at 24lbs each. Now maybe you spend the wad on the pilot competitions weighing at only 17lbs each. That means your wheels weigh 5lbs or so. Not likely.

Now I could believe the TIRE only could weigh 22-24lbs. but your wheels weigh probably close to 18-20lbs for a oem stocker 15". That makes your wheel/tire combo weigh in at 30-44lbs. My 17x8s with 245-45-17s weighed in at about 44 or so.

Right, but then you got bitten by the "he hurt my feelings bug" and decided to make fun of my rims when this thread is not about ME but about YOU! When I post pics of my little mustang wheels on my Max. and ask for an opinion, THEN you can say my rims don't look good, their horrible, trash etc. etc.

well like a said, I could be wrong, the scale is not really meant to measure anything under 100lbs even though the are numbers below it. They seem pretty light though leading me to believe they weigh that much.

rims look good, you never did brag...and some people on here have low self-esteem when it comes to their cars, one wrong comment and ...and you know something is going down when Jeff says, I don't think so...let me check that for you!!!
