Hazard switch failure. HELP

In the process of installing my stereo a couple years ago, I lost my hazards.
Can anyone identify the wires in the pics below.

I know the 4 shielded wires are speakers wire.

Could anyone of these wires being cut prevent the hazards from working?

if you cant see a wire thats cut, check to see power is getting to the wire. maybe its the fact that the switch is broke. do your turn signals still work? because if they dont then the switch isnt connected. i think thats how it works. and youre 100% positve on fuses?

ok, im gonna jsut assume you cut the connector off, but i can't imagine why anyone would do that.

so you are looking at the back of the hazard switch:

red with green stripe pink with blue stripe and pink rings every 2 inches
red with green stipe and pink ring every 2 inches red with white stripeorange with yellow stripe pink with black stripe and pink rings
black with brown stripe orange with blue stripe

hope that helps, and good luck with the baby, one other question...why not jsut take her car?

Everyone else works, and I'm NEVER Away from my car... Heh.
I didn't cut the back of the hazard switch, I donno if there was confusion there. I bought the car the a cooked bose unit, it wasn't cooked because of old age, it was because the preveous over when gorilla warfare on the wiring... Have no idea why. BUT the switch did work before, I have another switch i KNOW works, but still nothing.

Get a new switch from the junkyard. It's cheap and if it still doesn't work you can rule that out. Thats really wierd your turn signals still work. Maybe its a bad err... what do you call it, the unit that controls the turn signals and hazards, (relay box)?
