Bulbs
Lets see... where to start... ok so I was driving at night and noticed my head lights were pretty dim. I figured I needed to replace them. Well I bought htose damn expensive silverstar ultra bright head lights or whatever... they seem to be a lot brighter (50 bucks later).
Now I'm wondering... did I waste my money?
Also my corner lights are very dim compared to these... what kind of light would I use in the corner?
And finally, anyone have a quick write up on how to replace the foglight bulbS?

The fog lights each have a couple of 10 mm sockets that go straight up from the ground (stick your head underneath there). The entire assembly will come free. Then you unplug the wiring harness and the assembly will be totally free of the car. After that, there are two small phillips head screws holding the assembly together. Take that apart and the bulb is a standard H3 set up with a plug and a little wire loop holding the bulb in. Just be sure to not touch the glass on the bulb at all.
As for corner lights, I put in XD5 headlights (similar to Silverstars) and the stock corners looked very yellow. I just bought some "hyperwhite" 1157 bulbs (have the blue tint when not on. The blue looks a little ghey in the daytime, but at least it matches up at night fairly well. You can see the blue in my corners in my sig pic.
I think a lot of people like the light output of Silverstars, but they seem to burn out pretty fast. I have had the XD5s for two years and one bulb did go out. They are a little cheaper than Silverstars.

i use silverstars, pretty happy about them. there are however mixed responses concerning their lifespan. they seem to last decently long for me, but others have lasted a few months
as for the corner lights, you can buy some 'hyperwhites' and do the corner light rewire to make them constantly bright, not only when you have the turn signals on. check out craig's site for the how-to on rewiring.
