Actually, I believe that anything over 100k miles is priced all the same. It's all high mileage. So, it probably is worth (by the book) as much as one with 100k. Don't worry, I saw a 2nd gen with over 250k and ran like a Russian Race Horse, no wait, that has to do with the bathroom! It ran good though!

No, they still rate mileage based on miles/year. if it has more mileage than an "average" car of that same year, then the value is lower on it, based directly on how much milesage it's over.

play with the estimator on edmunds.com to see what I mean.

!

any car properly maintained will never dye, its a matter of keeping up with it and i recomend you keep all records to prove so and anyone will pay more money for a car they know was treated properly, also if you think the engine is still strong, it wont hurt to get a compression test done on the engine, that alone will get you another 600$ in my book if it has good compression and a reciept for a timming chain NEVER hurts!

If you think like I do then your car is now worth to you MORE than what you will EVER get for it. I have an 85 Celica with 262,000 and I will NEVER get the amount that it is worth to me.
