hows this sound for price

at the beggining of july ill be putting my maxima in the frame shop to get the front end re-straightend (hit a hill 2 winters ago) the cost for the bend and core weld are going to be 280 and ill have to put the new front end on my self they make sure everything is perfectly straight though. the core from the junk yard is going to cost 125 and a used radiator will cost 45 so 450 total to have my front end looking good again.

next at the very begining of august its going down to this garage in wheeling west virgina to have all the studs repaired and changed ($550) and the mounts changed as well (110 labor) and there are some mounts on ebay for 99 bucks but they are for the auto tranny and i have a 5-speed tranny. and ill be buying a warpspeed y-pipe and new 02 sensor as well. so total for this is roughly 940-1100.

do these prices sound about right or does any one on the org know of a places near pittsburgh where i can get these repairs done cheaper? any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Well I have a full radiator I can sell you. I pulled it out of a junk yard max for my car but i scrapped that project. PM me if you want it.

As far as the core support goes, its welded onto the frame and fenders. unless your going to add material to the core support you hack off the junkyard doner, Id just get a new one. Might be expensive but its worth it to do it right. This is what stopped me rebuilding my wrecked max. That and no time during school. GL with yours.

If you inspect your transmission mounts for damage (cracks or splits) and find none, then the $90 eBay kit is still a helluva deal. The front and rear mounts will still work with your car at a bargain considering AutoZone/Advance pricing at $70 per engine mount.

I purchased one of these kits for my Maxima and found they needed a little coaxing (sledge hammer, breaker bar, etc.) to be bent to fit on the crossmember. But, well worth it and good quality over all in the long run.
